Privacy

This covers slabbiez.com. Checkout runs on Shopify, which collects what it needs to take payment and ship your order — that part is governed by Shopify's own privacy policy as well as this one.

If you join the waitlist

We store three things:

• Your email address.
• Which list you joined — the general waitlist, or a notify-me on a specific character.
• Which character and which mode (Guardians or Buddies) you were looking at when you signed up.

That's it. No name, no address, no phone number. It's held in our own database and used for one purpose: emailing you about drops. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to build a profile of you.

If you buy something

Checkout is handled by Shopify. Your name, shipping address, email and payment details go to Shopify and its payment processor so the order can be taken and delivered. Card details never reach our servers — we never see or store them.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people look at. Nothing is stored until you choose. The first time you arrive you get a banner with two options: accept everything, or essential only.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell one visit apart from another. If you choose essential only, it doesn't — Google still receives an anonymous, cookie-free signal that a page was viewed, and we only ever see that as an aggregate count.

Whichever you pick, here is what we don't do:

• No advertising or retargeting pixels. There is a switch for it in the banner, off by default, and nothing uses it today.
• We don't sell, rent, or trade your data.
• We don't use analytics to work out who you are, and we never send it your email address.

Changing your mind

Cookie settings at the bottom of any page reopens that banner with your current choice loaded. Change it whenever you like — it takes effect immediately. Clearing your browser's site data also resets it, and you'll be asked again.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an instruction not to share your information for advertising. Those cookies then stay off no matter what the banner says.

What your browser stores

A few small values are kept in your browser's own storage so the site works: which mode you last chose, your Shopify cart reference, your cookie choice, and whether you arrived from the homepage so the back link knows where to send you.

These stay on your device, are never sent to advertisers, and can't be read by other sites. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs, which include IP addresses, as every web server does. They exist for security and debugging, are kept only briefly, and are never used for marketing or profiling.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and we'll do it. Email support@slabbiez.com and we'll reply within 5 business days.

We apply this to everyone who asks, wherever you live, rather than only where the law compels it.

If you live in California

Slabbiez is a California business, so the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us. On top of the rights above, you can ask us to tell you what categories of personal information we've collected and why, and you can't be treated differently for exercising any of it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of both.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us an email address, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update it here. Anything that materially affects people already on the waitlist, we'll say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
